I am a dedicated Clinical Mental Health Counselor and public affairs specialist committed to empowering individuals and communities through mental health advocacy, education, and culturally responsive care.

 

With experience providing individual, family, and group counseling to diverse clients, I integrate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy in my approach to support clients navigating anxiety, trauma, and relational challenges. I  have served in child advocacy centers and community mental health settings, facilitating psychoeducational groups and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.

 

I also bring extensive experience in public affairs, having managed diversity outreach, cultural heritage programs, and strategic communication initiatives at the U.S. Copyright Office, where I advanced initiatives for underrepresented groups and led impactful projects on a national level. My commitment to service extends to my entrepreneurial work with Viva Emerie, a brand empowering women of color, and my community involvement with initiatives supporting education and youth leadership. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University and am passionate about creating accessible, inclusive spaces where clients can heal, grow, and thrive.
