Psychosexual Assessment Clinician
Job Description
BEBH is seeking a licensed mental health clinician (LCSW or LPC) with demonstrated experience conducting psychosexual evaluations. This role involves completing comprehensive psychosexual assessments for adults, including clinical interviews, collateral review, standardized assessment measures, and detailed written reports. The clinician will practice within ethical, trauma-informed, and professional standards while adhering to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
This position is intended for clinicians with an established background in forensic or specialized psychosexual assessment work.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:

Conduct comprehensive psychosexual assessments, including:

Clinical and psychosocial interviews
-
Sexual history and behavioral assessment

Review of collateral records when applicable
-

Assist with psychosexual evaluations and potentially treatment as indicated

Administer, score, and interpret psychometric and assessment instruments used in psychosexual evaluations

Prepare clear, objective, and timely written reports for clinical, legal, or referral purposes

Communicate with administration regarding needed documents and client progress
-
Collaborate with referring providers, attorneys, probation/parole officers, and treatment teams as appropriate

Maintain accurate, ethical, and confidential clinical documentation

Adhere to state licensing laws, ethical codes, and legal standards relevant to psychosexual assessment

Participate in consultation or peer review as required
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess:
Education
-
Master’s Degree in Social Work
-
Graduate of CSWE-accredited program
License
-
North Carolina license required
-
LPC or LCSW certification required
-
CSOTP preferred
Additional Skills, Experience & Qualifications
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting psychosexual evaluations
-
Computer with webcam, phone, reliable internet access
-
Proficient with technology and comfortable using an online platform to deliver telehealth

Prior experience with remote work/telehealth preferred

Experience using Simple Practice preferred
-
Complete required paperwork thoroughly and in a timely fashion

Compassionate, self-starter, effective independent worker, organized, strong communicator
